FotoSketcher is a program that allows you to convert digital photos into paintings. After choosing a photo, you can pick whether you want to create a drawing, a painting or some other work of art. The program has lots of pencil and ink effects that can be applied to photos. It is possible to use one of the eight available painting effects or one of the four available stylized effects. You can set every parameter in each of the ready-made drawing schemes, until you get the intended image. The program displays the image at all times, so any change can be instantly revised, undone or altered. There are options to soften the edges of the picture, add a frame or apply a texture. You can even print a piece of text on your pictures, using any font of any size and color.

The source image can be taken from any local drive, or even the clipboard. FotoSketcher allows you to save the resulting image, print it and even set it as the new wallpaper. The program's interface is available in sixteen languages, and it will automatically switch to the language of your Windows system.
